Tharwa Drive/Lawrence Wackett Crescent
Upgrades at the Lawrence Wackett Crescent intersection (the t-intersection) were identified following a Black Spot Study. Collision data identifies the most common collision is vehicles colliding with vehicles, particularly between northbound and westbound vehicles.
Key features:
- Installation of traffic lights.
- Relocation of the existing pedestrian crossing facilities on Lawrence Wackett Crescent to the new signalised intersection. No pedestrian crossing facilities will be provided across Tharwa Drive due to the existing pedestrian underpass east of the intersection.
- New concrete median and upgraded streetlights.
- Widening of the road pavement to provide 4.3 metre wide lanes in both directions.
