Water refill stations


Water refill stations encourage Canberran’s to make healthy drink choices. The stations make it easier for people to fill up their water bottle in popular public places like shopping centres, parks and areas with high pedestrian traffic. The stations will help to further reduce the consumption of sugar-sweetened beverages while also reducing waste.

The water stations are equipped with two bottle refill nozzles as well as a drinking fountain. They are wheelchair accessible and stand at 2.1m tall allowing them to be easily located in crowded areas. Some locations also include a dog drinking bowl.
