Book a bulky waste collection at a multi-unit development (MUD)

Bulky waste bookings for apartments and townhouses with shared waste enclosures

This page is for strata managers, managing agents, body corporate and owner corporations only.

*If you live in an apartment or townhouse with shared waste facilities, please contact your strata manager or managing agent to arrange a bulky waste collection. All other residents can book their own collection at bookings for residents with their own bins.

The bulky waste collection service is now available to all ACT residents.

Households are entitled to one free collection per year of up to two cubic metres.

Building and strata managers: to arrange a booking for dwellings that you manage, please:

  1. Gather the necessary information from your resident/s to enable you to lodge a booking on their behalf. The resident application form for bulky waste collection (PDF 1MB) can assist you with this process.
  2. Once you have the information from your resident/s, return to this webpage to lodge the MUD bulky waste booking form.
  3. After the booking form is lodged, you will be contacted by SUEZ to discuss a collection location within the property if required.
Acceptable items

Acceptable

  • Furniture and household appliances
  • Tools including garden equipment with fuel and batteries removed
  • Timber up to two metres in length
  • White goods and sinks
  • Building materials/products (see list of excluded rubble)
  • Metal products/scrap metal (including hot water systems)
  • Electrical equipment with batteries removed
  • Blankets, linen and manchester
  • Lighting
  • Automotive parts with fuel and batteries removed
  • Camping and outdoor equipment
  • Televisions and computers
  • Mattresses and bed bases ($25 fee per mattress and $25 fee per bed base/ensemble)

Furniture and recreational items can be collected through the service.

Timber less than two metres long and garden tools can be collected through the service

Electronics can be collected through the service
