Credit cards/bank cards
Plastic cards such as credit cards and plastic loyalty cards cannot be recycled in ACT recycling bins.
Disposal options
Cut credit cards up into small pieces (to prevent usage by others), and place in the rubbish bin.
Why?
Our Materials Recovery Facility processes paper, cardboard and empty household containers and packaging only. Other plastic items are not recyclable.
