Glasses in good condition can be reused or recycled at retail points in the ACT. They are not household packaging so cannot be recycled in ACT recycling bins.
Disposal options
- Donate to Lions Recycle for Sight is part of the Lions Clubs International Worldwide Eyeglass Recycling Program. There are collection boxes at your local Specsavers retail store
- If broken, put in rubbish bin
Why?
Glasses and frames in good condition can be recycled or reused by charities and this saves them from going to waste in landfill.
