Tissues
Tissues do not go in ACT recycling bins.
Disposal options
- Compost, bokashi or worm farm
- Rubbish bin
Why?
Although tissues are made from paper, like paper towel and toilet paper, they are made of very short fibres which are not long enough to be recycled and are therefore considered a contaminant in recycling.
