Wipes
Wipes are not recyclable and do not go in ACT recycling bins. Never flush wipes - even if they are labelled ‘flushable’. Wipes clog up sewer and septic systems. See Icon Water for more information on caring for your drains.
Why?
The synthetic fibres that make up wet wipes prevent them from breaking down.
