Wrapping paper
Most wrapping paper can go in the recycling bin.
Disposal options
- Small quantities or ripped bits of paper are best composted as they are too small to be bailed and sent for recycling
- Reuse paper where possible
- Recycling bin
- For large quantities drop off free at a Recycling Drop Off Centre
- Cellophane paper or foil-styled gift-wrapping paper are made from plastic
- Avoid
- Reuse
- Landfill bin.
Why?
Paper can be recycled via our Materials Recovery Facility to be made into new paper products.
