Household chemicals such as ammonia, bleach, brake fluid, chlorine, caustic soda, coolant, drain cleaner, poisons and oven cleaner are hazardous wastes. Do not dispose of in your recycling or rubbish bin.

Why?
Chemicals are damaging to the environment and do not belong in the rubbish or recycling bin. The Transfer Stations are required to dispose of chemicals responsibly to minimise harm to people and the environment.
