Office furniture is made from metals, plastics and woods. If in good condition it is best to reuse it.
Disposal options
- Give to a friend, donate to charity or sell online.
- If in good condition, drop off free at The Green Shed at:
- For large quantities, contact a business that specialises in the re-sale of second-hand furniture.
- Contact a business that specialise in the collection, recycling and/or reusing of metal, such as:

- Items made predominantly of metal (80 percent) can be dropped free at the following Transfer Stations as the metal can be recovered:
- Waste to landfill - as a last resort general waste that cannot be reused or recycled can be dropped off at the Resource Management Centre, fees apply.

Do not leave outside charities or on your nature strip. This is illegal and fines will result.
