Radios are not covered by the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme.
Disposal options
- If working and reusable, drop off free at Goodies Junction at:
- Put them in rubbish bin
Why?
At this stage, Australia does not have a national recycling scheme for electrical appliances. The existing scheme covers TVs and computers while specific programs exists for mobile phones and printer cartridges. Currently at the end of their life, radios must be disposed of in landfill.
