Telephones must not go in your household recycling bin and are not accepted as part of the National Mobile Muster program.
Disposal options
- Give to a friend, donate to charity or sell online
- If reusable, drop off free at Goodies Junction at:
- Contact a business who specialises in electronics recycling:
- Place in your household landfill bin
Why?
The Material Recovery Facility is designed to process household containers, packaging, paper and cardboard only. Some telephones do contain valuable metals and materials which can be recovered and reused if taken a specialised recycler.
