Televisions can be recycled under the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme.
Disposal options
- If reusable, drop off free at Goodies Junction at:
- Drop off free as part of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme located at Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre or the Mitchell Resource Management Centre
- Advise the attendant you are dropping items off under the scheme to be directed to the appropriate area
- Limit of 15 items per person apply
- Contact a business who accept working and/or non- working computers and equipment for re-using and/or recycling:

Why?
In 2011 the Australian Government introduced a national, industry funded, recycling scheme for televisions and computers. The scheme prevents millions of old TVs and computers from being sent to landfill by providing opportunities for the community to recycle their unwanted televisions and computers free of charge.
