Tupperware containers
Tupperware like other plastic storage containers, reusable plastic coffee cups and reusable drink bottles are not recyclable in ACT recycling bins.
Disposal options
- Give to a friend, donate to charity or sell online
- Consider donating to GIVIT – a national not-for-profit connecting those who have with those who need, in a private and safe way
- Drop off free at The Green Shed at:
- Consider businesses and charities that specialise in the acceptance and resale of second-hand goods such as:
- If broken, rubbish bin
Why?
Plastic storage containers, lunch-boxes, drink bottles and plastic coffee cups cannot be sorted at our Materials Recovery Facility in the ACT system which is designed for empty containers, packaging, paper and cardboard only.
