Electrical wiring can often be reused or recovered but do not put in ACT recycling bins.

Why?
Electrical wiring, cables and cords contain some valuable metals which can be recovered so it does not go to waste in landfill. The must not go in the recycling bin as they would tangle in the machinery. Our Materials Recovery Facility processes paper, cardboard and empty household containers and packaging only.
