Disposal options
- Give to a friend, donate to charity or sell online
- Donate items in good condition to Goodies Junction at:
- Contact a business that specialises in recycling both working and non-working cameras, such as:
- Cameras and video recorders can be dropped off for free as part of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme at:
- All batteries must be removed prior to disposal and can be recycled through the B-cycle program.
Why?
Cameras and accessories contain valuable materials like aluminium, gold, silver and copper that can be extracted and reused. Recycling these items reduces the need to mine for new raw materials.
