Photocopiers and printers
Household printers such as single and multi-function printers with print, copy and fax transmissions are accepted as part of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme.
Disposal options
- If in working order, drop off free at Goodies Junction at:
- Drop off free as part of the National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme located at Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre or Mitchell Resource Management Centre
- Advise the attendant you are dropping items off under the scheme to be directed to the appropriate area
- Limit of 15 items per person apply.
- Consider businesses who accept working and/or non-working photocopiers for reusing and/or recycling:

- Officeworks – Bring it Back program
- Contact the manufacturer as most companies will take back their own equipment for disposal and/or recycling
- Waste to landfill - as a last resort general waste that cannot be reused or recycled can be dropped off at Resource Management Centres, fees apply
Why?
Photocopiers and printers contain many valuable materials including aluminium, gold, silver and copper that can be extracted for reuse. It means that fewer raw materials need to be extracted and processed to make new products.
