This handsome lad is incredibly social and thrives on being around people—he’s happiest when he’s included in the daily rhythm of family life. Boss would love a home where he has both inside and outside access, so he can be close to his people while still enjoying a good sniff and sunbake in the yard. He’s got some basic training under his belt but will benefit from ongoing training and socialisation to help him be the best version of himself. Boss is a strong boy on lead, so he’s looking for an active household that can take him on daily walks and help him burn off some of that playful energy. Boss absolutely adores a game of tug-o-war and will happily initiate play with toys—he’s gentle, friendly, and always up for fun. He’s also respectful with toys and will let you take them from him to keep the game going. He’s best suited to a single-pet household with secure fencing and children aged 8 years and older. Boss will make a wonderful companion for a family who wants a loyal, affectionate, and playful dog who just wants to be part of the action. He has so much love to give and will be a truly special addition to the right home.
*The adoption fee covers the fee payable to Domestic Animal Services to release the dog. Additional fees include a registration fee ($64.25 or concession $24.20) and microchip fee ($26.70 to update microchip details or $48.50 if the dog was not microchipped when impounded). Sexually entire dogs must be desexed by a vet, fees will apply.
