Transport Canberra and City Services facilitates Building Applications for the following works, where the development is three dwellings and under:

Early works approvals

Early Works Approval is not required for activities that have opted out of Design Review. See Reference Document 6A for details.

Driveway applications

Approval is required for construction of a new driveway, adding a second driveway or modifying an existing driveway.

Nature strips

Nature strips are located on public land and approval may be required depending on the activity.

Stormwater applications

Approval is required for construction or any modifications near stormwater easements.

Landscape management and protection

These plans are required for any building works to protect territory assets adjacent to the construction area.
