Flemington Road walking and cycling path


Project description

A new pedestrian and cycle path has been constructed along the eastern side of Flemington Road between Well Station Drive and EPIC. This new path will provide better and safer access between Franklin and Mitchell, particularly to and from the Mitchell commercial precinct and the light rail stops.

In addition to the path works, lighting and signage, more than 100 trees were planted along the length of the project.

In addition to the path works, this stage of the project saw the planting of more than 100 trees.

Stage two of the Flemington Road shared path has opened between Morisset Road and Well Station Drive.
