Design is underway on Erindale shops improvements
In the 2025-26 ACT Budget, the ACT Government committed to improving shops across Canberra. This includes public space upgrades at the Erindale shops.
Erindale shops in Tuggeranong caters to everyday needs. Surrounded by residential areas in Erindale, Wanniassa, Monash and Gowrie, the shops include a hairdresser, chemist, medical centres, cafes, gyms, supermarket, takeaway and a florist.
The public space upgrades at the Erindale shops may include new or improved lighting, furniture, pathways and paving, playground equipment, integrated community artwork, new signage, improved traffic and car parking arrangements and new landscaping and tree planting.
