Isabella Plains playground upgrade

In Isabella Plains, the local neighbourhood playground on Yabtree Place will be upgraded.

The final design will be shared with the community in 2026, ahead of works commencing.

Project description

Design is underway on Isabella Plains playground upgrade.

In Isabella Plains, the local neighbourhood playground on Yabtree Place will be upgraded. A dirt bike trail will be included in the upgrade works adjacent to the playground.

Across the ACT, playgrounds are being improved, and new play activities are being delivered to provide children of all ages and abilities with fun, creative and engaging play experiences.

There are over 500 playgrounds across Canberra owned and managed by the ACT Government.

In 2024 an election commitment was made to improve the play facilities in eight suburbs across Canberra.
