Project description
Design is underway on Red Hill toilet.
Design is underway for a new toilet facility in Red Hill. The new toilet facility is planned to be built between the local shops and Lady Nelson Playground at Lady Nelson Place. The proposed location will ensure accessibility, passive surveillance and user safety.
The new toilet facility will include a unisex accessible toilet with baby change table. It will allow people to stay longer at the playground and shops and enjoy more time outdoors in their local neighbourhood.
Additional landscaping including planting and pathways will also be installed around the facility to help it connect and integrate with the surrounding landscape.
This project is one of the new and upgraded community facilities and infrastructure planned for our city that was funded in the 2025-26 ACT Budget
