Multi-unit development repair and replacement request
The repair and replacements request for shared waste entitlement form is used to request the repair or replacement of a damaged residential garbage, recycling or garden organics bin/hopper for multi-unit developments which are currently serviced by the ACT Government and where the bin/hopper is owned by the ACT Government (as opposed to owned by the strata, body corporate or owner corporation). Bin repair or replacement is free of charge.
This form can only be used by the managing strata, body corporate or owner corporation of the multi-unit development.
Use this form if your bin has a:
cracked, melted or broken body (in this case, the entire bin/hopper will be replaced)
damaged wheelie bin handle (in this case, the entire bin will be replaced)
damaged or missing wheel(s), axle(s) or wheel brake
damaged or missing lid or lid insert.
This form can also be used to report a stolen or missing bin/hopper or to report a bin/hopper that requires cleaning.
The bin/hopper will be repaired or replaced within 5 days of the successful lodgement of this form. You will be notified via email on which day your bin/hopper will be repaired or replaced.
