Curtin shops minor improvements


Current update

Work has begun to deliver minor improvements in the central courtyard at Curtin shops. Works are expected to be completed in June 2026, weather and site conditions permitting.

All works will be competed as day works between 7 am and 5 pm, with some work on weekends between the same hours if required.

Project description

Construction is underway on Curtin shops minor improvements

The ACT Government is delivering public space improvements at Curtin shops on Carruthers Street.

Improvements include:

  • re-laid paving
  • new signage
  • re-leveling of existing bench seats
  • new bench seating, table and stools
  • refurbishment of the existing steel furniture.

Access will be maintained to all businesses throughout the works.

There will be temporary pedestrian detours to facilitate the works.

Please be mindful and avoid the work area.
