Project description

Complete: the Dunlop playground toilet.

The ACT Government has delivered a new toilet facility which includes a unisex accessible toilet with baby change table and a unisex ambulant toilet. It allows people to stay longer at the playground and enjoy more time outdoors in their local neighbourhood.

The toilet facility is approximately 6 metres in length, 2.5 metres wide and 2.9 metres tall with artwork installed on the building exterior. Screening and planting has been installed to enhance the area and increase passive surveillance.

The building also features exterior artwork by Yarrudhamarra Creations, which represents Garru, the Australian Magpie.

This project was one of the new and upgraded community facilities and infrastructure planned for our city that was funded in the 2024-25 ACT budget.
