Project description

Complete: Ruth Park, Coombs new toilets.

Following community feedback in 2022 and 2023 about the need for increased facilities in Ruth Park in Coombs, the ACT Government has built a new toilet block with 2 unisex accessible toilets and baby change tables.

The toilet block is approximately 5 metres wide and 4 metres long with artwork installed on the building exterior.

Key features

  • Artwork on the building exterior
  • Landscaping including deciduous and evergreen trees
  • Corten steel panels featuring local Indigenous art

This project is part of the new and upgraded community facilities and infrastructure planned for our city which was funded in the 2024-25 ACT budget.
