Woden urban realm improvements


Project description

Following the success of the Woden Experiment, additional improvements have been completed in the pedestrian link between the Town Square to Corinna Street including in the Woden Library forecourt. Elements for these minor upgrades were informed by the consultation undertaken for the Woden Experiment in 2018 as well as feedback received from the community since the Experiment began in March 2019.

There is new landscaping (including approximately 12 trees), street furniture providing more spaces for you to sit and relax and we will also be installing signage directing you to key locations in the town centre.

The ACT Government has also delivered a significant package of improvements to active travel in Woden.
