Lime shared e-scooters and e-bikes now available across Canberra

Canberrans have a new way to get around, with Lime launching its shared e‑scooter and e‑bike service across the ACT.

The service expands active travel options for Canberrans, offering a flexible, affordable and environmentally friendly way to make short trips and connect with public transport.

Shared e‑scooters and e‑bikes provide a convenient option for Canberrans, ensuring the community will continue to benefit from high quality, equitable, sustainable and flexible transport options.

E‑scooters, e‑bikes and other similar mobility devices are an affordable, sustainable and healthy travel choice for getting around Canberra. Whether you’re using a shared device or your own personal e‑scooter or e‑bike, it’s important to understand the rules and ride responsibly to keep yourself and others safe.

Just as if you were driving a car or riding a motorcycle, road rules apply when riding an e-scooter or e-bike. Riders are expected to be aware of the rules and take responsibility for safe behaviour.
