Safety and repair works to pedestrian and cycle bridge


Following the significant storm event on 6 February 2026, the pedestrian bridge over Yarralumla Creek adjacent to Yarra Glen, south Curtin was promptly inspected by specialist engineers. The inspection confirmed storm-related damage, and, as a result, the bridge must remain closed to the public to ensure community safety until major repair works are completed.

While the bridge remains closed, the community is asked to follow the diversions indicated on the map.
