Safety and repair works to pedestrian and cycle bridge


Following storm damage sustained during the significant weather event on Friday 6 February 2026, the pedestrian bridge over Yarralumla Creek adjacent to Yarra Glen, South Curtin, was closed to allow essential repairs to be carried out.

Permanent handrails have now been replaced, restoring the bridge to its full functionality and ensuring a safe and reliable crossing for pedestrians and cyclists.

Thank you to the community for your patience wile we carried out these important repairs.
