Cruz is a friendly, engaging young dog who is ready to find a loving home where he can truly thrive. From the moment he feels comfortable, Cruz’s affectionate nature shines through—he loves being close to his people, leaning in for pats, wagging his tail, and gently jumping up for cuddles. His approach to affection is soft and non-intrusive, making him a wonderful companion for those who enjoy a loving, interactive dog. Cruz has a big zest for life and an equally big love for play. He eagerly joins in games, often offering a playful bow and enthusiastically engaging with a wide variety of toys. While he remains relaxed and happy during play, his excitement can escalate into a lively “go-go-go” mode where he becomes energetic and a little unfocused. With consistent training and structure, Cruz will continue to build his ability to settle and channel his energy in positive ways. Cruz is best suited to an active household that can meet his need for daily exercise and mental stimulation. A home with secure fencing and both indoor and outdoor access will give him the environment he needs to feel safe and fulfilled. He will benefit greatly from ongoing training, lead walking, routine, and continued socialisation to support his development into a well-balanced adult dog. With his friendly and adaptable temperament, Cruz has the potential to live with another compatible dog and could also thrive in a family with children of any age, provided interactions are guided and supervised. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and lively companion to share your days with, Cruz could be the perfect match for you!
