Duke is a big, lovable boy who is guaranteed to bring laughter, energy, and affection into your home. Full of personality, he is incredibly goofy and loves being part of everything that’s going on. Duke would suit an active household that can provide him with daily exercise to help burn off his high energy levels. He will need ongoing training, as he hasn’t had a lot of formal guidance yet, but with consistency and patience, he is sure to blossom into an amazing companion. He is strong on lead, so his new owner will need to be confident handling a larger dog while continuing his training journey. He is toilet trained for indoors and would do best in a home with secure fencing and both inside and outside access. Duke is not suited to a rural property and is not cat-friendly, so a home without cats is essential. With his affectionate and easy-going nature, Duke is well suited to families with children of any age. He has so much love to give and is just waiting for a committed home to guide him and enjoy all the fun that comes with his big, happy personality. *The adoption fee covers the fee payable to Domestic Animal Services to release the dog. Additional fees include a registration fee ($64.25 or concession $24.20) and microchip fee ($26.70 to update microchip details or $48.50 if the dog was not microchipped when impounded). Sexually entire dogs must be desexed by a vet, fees will apply.
