Looking for a loyal best friend who just needs a little time and patience to shine? Meet Koda, a sweet young boy with a gentle nature, soulful brown eyes, and a heart full of potential. Koda has found the shelter environment a little overwhelming and can be reserved when meeting new people. However, with patience and kindness, he is already beginning to show his true personality. Over his time in care, Koda has started forming strong bonds with trusted staff and is becoming more confident every day. Once he feels safe, he enjoys stretching his legs in the yard, playing with toys, and simply spending time with the people he trusts. This handsome boy is looking for a calm and understanding home that will allow him to settle in at his own pace. Koda is not the type of dog who will instantly jump into your lap and demand attention, but if you invest the time to build his confidence, he will reward you with something truly special: his trust, loyalty, and companionship. We believe that with continued positive experiences, Koda will soon become the devoted furry shadow you've always dreamed of having by your side. As a young dog, Koda will benefit from ongoing training, daily exercise, enrichment activities, and gentle socialisation to help him continue growing into a confident adult. He would thrive in an active home that can provide both mental and physical stimulation while supporting his emotional development. Koda is seeking a quiet household with secure fencing and access to both indoor and outdoor spaces. Due to his sensitive nature, he is best suited to a home with teenagers aged 15 years and older. He is also looking for a home where he can be the only dog, allowing him to build his confidence and develop a strong bond with his new family. If you're searching for a gentle companion and are willing to give a deserving young dog the time, patience, and love he needs, Koda could be the perfect match.
