Milo is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate young dog who is looking for a patient family to help him continue growing into the confident companion he is destined to become. While he can be a little underconfident in new situations, Milo has a lovely submissive nature and forms strong bonds with those who show him kindness and understanding. Having had limited exposure to the wider world so far, Milo is still learning about new people, places, and experiences. With positive reinforcement, encouragement, and consistency, he continues to build confidence and show more of his playful personality. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Milo enjoys interacting with those around him and is eager to be involved in family life. Milo is seeking a home with secure fencing and access to both indoor and outdoor living spaces, where he can enjoy companionship while having the freedom to explore and relax. Due to his young age, ongoing training, socialisation, and exposure to a variety of environments will be important in helping him develop into a well-rounded adult dog. A friendly and confident resident dog is a requirement for Milo's adoption. He gains reassurance from other dogs and thrives when he has a social canine companion to help guide him and encourage him to come out of his shell. Living with another suitable dog will provide him with valuable support as he continues to learn and grow. Milo is best suited to a quieter home with children aged 8 years and older who can respect his gentle nature and allow him time to settle at his own pace. His breed also requires ongoing professional grooming, so his new family should be prepared to maintain his coat and overall wellbeing. With patience, guidance, and positive reinforcement-based training, Milo will flourish into a loving, loyal, and devoted companion. He has a wonderful temperament, a heart full of love, and all the potential to become a cherished member of a fortunate family.
