Looking for a loyal companion who just wants to be loved? Meet Sam, a humble older gentleman with a heart of gold and plenty of affection left to give. While he may be considered a senior, Sam is still surprisingly spritely and enjoys being involved in family life. His greatest joy is simply being close to his people, whether that's sitting at your feet, following you around the house, or enjoying a quiet cuddle on the couch. Sam absolutely thrives on human companionship and is looking for a home where someone is around more often than not. He loves soft pats on the top of his head, gentle leg rubs, belly scratches, and hearing those special words: "I love you." He knows many commands, responds well to direction, and has excellent house manners, including being toilet trained indoors. Although he enjoys a quieter lifestyle, Sam still has a playful side. He likes toys, enjoys a small game of fetch, and can often be found happily snuggling with his favourite toy or blanky. He's an easy-going companion who appreciates both gentle activity and peaceful relaxation. Sam is seeking a home with secure fencing and inside-outside access, giving him the freedom to comfortably move between the home and yard. A semi-active family willing to provide daily short walks and gentle exercise will help him stay healthy and happy in his golden years. He would be best suited as the only pet in the home, as he prefers having his people all to himself. Sam would do well with children aged 12 years and older who can respect his need for a calm and relaxed environment. If you're searching for a devoted best friend who asks for little more than love, companionship, and a comfortable place to rest his head, Sam could be the perfect match. In return, he'll reward you with endless loyalty, affection, and the special kind of companionship that only a wonderful old boy like Sam can provide.
