Tye is a large, gentle boy with a heart just as big as his size. This affectionate “boofhead” absolutely adores attention and will happily soak up all the pats, cuddles, and time you can give him. He is a lovely companion who forms strong bonds with his people and enjoys being part of everyday life. Tye is best suited to a home with secure fencing and access to both indoor and outdoor spaces, where he can comfortably relax and feel included. Due to some breathing difficulties—especially when pressure is applied to his throat—he walks best using a harness and will need shorter, low-intensity outings. While he enjoys his daily walks, he does tire easily, so a semi-active household that can match his pace would be ideal. Tye can be strong on lead and will benefit from ongoing training and continued socialisation. He may be vocal at times, particularly when he’s excited or wants attention, so a patient and understanding home will help him thrive. At this stage, Tye would do best as the only dog in the home while he settles in and builds confidence. He is suitable for families with children aged 6 years and over who can respect his needs and size. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion with a gentle nature and plenty of love to give, Tye may be the perfect addition to your family.
