Soil disposal at Mugga 2 Quarry

The Mugga 2 Quarry is managed by REMONDIS and handles the safe disposal of certified soil removed from construction and demolition projects. The quarry will accept the following waste types:

• VENM - Virgin Excavated Natural Materials
• BRU – Beneficial Reuse Material
• ACM – Asbestos Contaminated Material

Mugga 2 Quarry is open Monday to Friday by appointment only through Remondis. Please allow at least 48 hours notice.

An ACT NoWaste commercial waste credit account is required for disposals at Mugga 2 Quarry. For information on opening an account, please contact TCCS.NoWasteAccounts@act.gov.au.

No other materials will be accepted. For demolition waste, putrescible waste and friable asbestos visit the Recyclopaedia for disposal options.

Landfilling of Mugga 2 Quarry has been designed to avoid impact on this ecological community and to reinstate the natural landform improving the environmental values of the area.
