Project description

Construction is starting soon on Kaleen playground.

Wakool Circuit playground in Kaleen is being upgraded with a water eco-system theme. The upgrades will provide an exciting local level playground for the community.

In 2023 we invited feedback on priority elements for inclusion in the preliminary design. For more information on the consultation that took place, including a What We Heard Report (PDF) summarising the feedback, visit YourSay.

This playground upgrade is one of six significant playground upgrades happening across Canberra. You can find out more about the playground program, as well as a new recreation park being built in Casey, and a new destination playground in the Inner North.
