Do you have ideas about improving road safety? The ACT Government provides grants for projects that will benefit road safety in our community.
Applications are now open for this year's road safety community grants.
Funding can be for road safety programs, projects, education campaigns or research. Any individual, school or community group can apply.
Examples of previous community projects are available on our road safety grants page and include:
- multicultural road safety workshops
- motorcycle safety forum
- road safety awareness sessions and publications for seniors
- learn to ride and road safety program for children with additional needs
- pedestrian and cyclist road safety education program for students at a primary school
- training for cycling club members so they can provide first aid if they are first responders on the scene of a crash.
