New bins

The request new bins form is used to request a new set of garbage and recycling bins for a newly built (or rebuilt) private residence. The standard bin allocation is free of charge to the resident. Please note that a new set of bins can only be delivered once the residence is occupied.

If you have moved into an existing residence and the set of bins is missing, please use the replace a missing bin form. If you are in a multi-unit development (MUD) please use the request a new waste collection service for a new MUD form.

The standard bin allocation for a new residence is a 140 litre garbage bin (wheelie bin with a red lid) and a 240 litre recycling bin (wheelie bin with a yellow lid).

This form can also be used to request an additional or upgraded red or yellow bin, or a 240 litre garden organics (green bin) at the same time as a new service request. Fees may apply.

The new, additional and/or upgraded bins will be delivered within 5 working days from the approval of this form.
